A Meow From Heaven

Jane mourned the recent death of her beloved pet cat Sweetie, but was happy when she occasionally heard Sweetie’s meow around the house. I was glad to hear that, too, because Jane loved and spoiled that cat and, in her own diva-like way, Sweetie loved Jane for treating her like a queen. But after several weeks, Jane became concerned – did Sweetie’s continued presence mean she had not crossed over to the other side?

GHOST HUNTING IN CLEVELAND

Recently, she gave my husband and I a tour of some wonderfully dilapidated old structures around Ohio City that may end up as termite food – that is, unless some spirited inhabitants have their say.

THE GIFT OF LIGHTS

Kalisma called me because she was afraid of the lights. When I picked up the phone in my office to begin our Skype session, she urgently blurted out, “I’m so stressed out! I don’t know who to talk to, because I’m sure no one will take me seriously! But I need help! Can you help me? I don’t know who else to call!”

“Whoa,” I said, “slow down, Kalisma.” Spirit told me this woman was not in danger, just easily excited. I took a moment to collect my thoughts and listened to her racing breaths. Then, with a gentle voice, I asked, “Let’s start at the beginning.”
